Its pumpkin season so I thought it would be great to feature it as we celebrate autumn here in the UK. Nothing beats slow-roasted lamb. The comforting smell of rosemary and garlic is unbeatable and it’s a gentle reminder that we should all spend time together around the table. We served roasted cherry tomatoes with our lamb shoulder, which may seem a little unconventional but the sweetness and acidity they add is just perfect to cut through the fatty, glorious lamb
We love miniature versions of things. Here we made tiny carrot cakes, by simply creating a square one and trimming into bite-size petit-fours (meaning ‘little ovens’ in French). It is a lovely sweet treat to put out at your BBQ as a dessert that everyone can help themselves to.
Delicious, semi-posh sandwiches which are pretty enough to serve as an appetiser to your guests. Double up the recipe if you are making for more than 2 persons. I am showcasing crab with this recipe, but you can very easily use tinned white crab meat for an equally delicious result
